Wayne joined us in 2023; he has lived in Marlborough for nine years since moving from the North Island. Before joining Cuddon, Wayne was the Engineering Manager at Villa Maria Estate. He studied at the University of Waikato and earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies. Additionally, Wayne was a commissioned NZDF - Air Training Corps officer specialising in leadership, bushcraft, and risk management.

At Cuddon, Wayne leads the operations team, and his area of expertise is operations management.  One of the things that Wayne loves most about working at Cuddon is that the company's growth and business model are still based on innovation, even after being in the industry for over 80 years. Wayne admires the company's resilience and ability to meet its customer's needs. He also shares the company's passion for innovation and excellence, which drives him to lead the operations team in delivering outstanding results.

Outside of work, Wayne is an avid tramper. His experiences in bushwalking and tramping have helped shape his leadership style, where he uses his knowledge of risk management to make informed decisions. We love having him on the team!
